I studied biology, geology and teaching on natural sciences. I study insects today, which makes entomology my current working field. From botany I learn the strict interaction that exists between the mineral world and any life support, particularly in the realm of the animal world. As far as I remember, I’ve always been a Naturalist, ever since. Self-employed, external collaborator of The Center for Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Changes of the University of Lisbon for the Red List of Invertebrates of Portugal, and with the Butterfly Conservation Center of Portugal, in Biodiversity, Taxonomy, Entomology, and Environmental Education. "How natural environments function, and particularly, how human beings can manage behavior and ecosystems to live sustainably". I am experienced in Fieldwork and Sampling Techniques for terrestrial and aquatic Invertebrates monitoring schemes. I use photography in my work, insofar as I use the camera as an instrument to record the entry of all wildlife observations, line after line, in a spreadsheet.
