Living Wild

Living Wild

For 16 years I served the Namibian Government through the Ministry of Environment and Tourism (Directorate Parks and Wildlife Management), similar to the US Fish and Wildlife Services. During this time, I managed the Khaudum National Park and Tsumkwe areas (formerly known as Bushmanland) in the North East of this country. Needless to say, I was surrounded by wildlife abound, and beauty unimaginable through wildlife free. After meeting my dream best friend (from St. Louis in the USA), we got married and our son Daniel was born 5 years ago. It was time to get out of the "bush" and closer to civilization and facilities needed to raise a family (such as a hospital). I resigned from Wildlife Management and accepted a post managing a private Game Reserve, still remaining with the animals I so love and cherish (but with a hospital an hour's drive away). And this is where I am now. Doing what I love. Sometimes I have a camera on hand, most of the time not. I am trying my best to make a point of it, but sometimes forget my camera at home. Hope you enjoy my photos ... of wondrous wildlife free, beautiful, majestic and magnificent.
