      Oh damn! You think that's the red dots eh? I thought of them when doing ID because there was no red on any of the photos I found. Mites is a good/sad guess.

      TRUE! I think this happened to me too, my macro shots showed how filthy my sensor was in ways other photos barely registered.

    5. Good find! That looks just like them and I'll buy the Quebec reference. They totally look like the "common damselfly" from Europe but the references I found were so specific that they were only in Europe :)

      Not sure about Double-Ringed pennant species ID but it's definitely the closest match of already-identified species and looks good compared to other images I found in Google.

      Added geotag, sorry missed it yesterday, using tethering to post and the upload was acting weird yesterday.

      Removed the species ID since it strongly implied Asia which I am nowhere near.
