Probably a cottonmouth (Agkistrodon piscivorus) . Can't quite 100% say for sure though.

The photos under the species Agkistrodon piscivorus (Cottonmouth) are all miss IDs except for mine. The ones uploaded by Joe are a Brown Water Snake (Nerodia taxispilota) and the other remaining photos are a Pantherophis spp. likely spiloides. I'm changing them, but I guess wanted to inform you.

This guy was purely good fortune. I walked into a farm pasture with roaming sheep towards dusk and found him underneath a large rock in the middle of the grassland. To be honest my luck with adders has never been too great. I'm headed to Croatia this summer so I'll try my luck with the horned viper over there. Fingers crossed hahah

Thanks! I'm not great with insect identification so if you suspect something else please let me know. I even suspect it could be Leptysma marginicollis as well. The website I found says that stripes in the eyes of Achurum are not prominent, which could point to Leptysma.

I'll take your word for it as I am no expert in insect identification. Thanks!

Nice Thailand finds! I was there a few months ago but wasn't there to find reptiles and amphibians unfortunately.
