Sorrel Sapphire
This tiny beauty is common in Himalayas but still a beauty it is!!! I love the fact that in any biodiversity assessment you literally have to take efforts to have all the possible shots of these tiny creatures to reach species level identification and hence it makes them important in such assessments. I tried searching for etymology of its genus and I found that Helio means relating to sun and phorus is of origin. So sun is the origin of is what it means and its quite cool. In this lockdown I went a step ahead and imagined its wings arranged in a circle in order to get those flaming red-orange edges of the wing on the edge of a circle :-p. Thats enough of me fancying this beauty.

''Heliophorus sena'', the sorrel sapphire, is a small butterfly found in India that belongs to the lycaenids or blues family.
