''Monotropa hypopitys'', also known as Dutchman's pipe, yellow bird's-nest or pinesap, is a herbaceous perennial plant, formerly classified in the families Monotropaceae or Pyrolaceae, but now included within the subfamily Monotropoideae of the blueberry family .
