  1. Maybe Disphragis sp. or Cecrita sp.? Cecrita perplexa is similar, but I'm not sure. It could also be in the family Lasiocampidae. Posted 10 days ago
    1. Ohhh, great hint:

Based on the genus you suggested I'm looking for one to match the small white marks near the end of the abdomen, that one comes close, right?

Really great moss mimick, assuming that's what its doing.

      1. It's such a cool, mossy moth! That one is super close! I was also looking for a match for the two yellowish dots next to the thorax. Posted 8 days ago, modified 8 days ago
        1. Huh can't believe I completely overlooked the yellow dots! Posted 8 days ago
          1. Cecrita has the dots, but they are white, not yellow, that I've seen so far at least. I just noticed that there are actually 4 yellowish dots - 2 more faint ones on the wings. Posted 7 days ago
            1. Ugh, missed those too! Missed pretty much anything, really :) Posted 7 days ago
              1. You were busy admiring its mossy beauty <3 Posted 7 days ago
