    1. I'm not sure about this one. There are a few similar species but not exactly the same. What do you think it is?

      1. I have seen this one before but there is some confusion about its ID which I will check instead of guessing.
        The yellow margin at the apex will be important to distinguish from similar species.

        The background beetle is the very common Castiarina punctosulcata. That has way too many syllables for a valid name in my opinion. They are absolutely gorgeous, and mimics of native bees, with whom they share flower nectar on hot summer days.
