Great capture Niel! It actually saddens me a bit to see the Koala endangered. At least in Australia most people are aware of this animal and I'd like to believe they are aware it's endangered. I hope that someday I'll be able to visit Australia to see the Koala, Kangaroo, Wombat, Platypus, Echinda, Emu, Cockatoos, Saltwater Crocodile and Goannas:) Posted 11 months ago

The Koala

The koala is an arboreal herbivorous marsupial native to Australia. It is the only extant representative of the family Phascolarctidae, and its closest living relatives are the wombats. The koala is found in coastal areas of the mainland's eastern and southern regions, inhabiting Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia.
