  1. Hi,

I've made a short ebook on advice for improving your wildlife and nature photography, and am currently posting it, bit-by-bit on my blog, every Sunday and Wednesday! :)

Check it out! the first two are already up! :)

The last post will be the complete PDF ebook FOR FREE! :)

  2. Looking forward to the journey with you JohnR. I hope you make it easy for first timers who are ' point and click's photographers. Thanks for doing this. Replied 2 years ago
  3. Englishindiangirl - Thanks and indeed it is entry level, and basic. the aim is just to get people to think about the images they are taking rather than to give them a precise recipe for how to take a certain image in certain conditions... :) I guess i just wrote down the different things i have had to overcome. :)

Feel free to ask any specific questions, on here, and I or any of the other amazing photographer here will help! :)

  4. I've already had an early peek at the complete PDF, and I'd just like to say that it's worth the read for photographers of all skill levels and all cameras.
There are only two tips that you might not be able to take advantage of if you have a less advanced camera or aren't familiar with how to use all of the settings (one of which he's already put up - the ISO tip)... but the rest could help no matter what camera you have.
More experienced photographers are likely to already know and follow most, or even all, of the tips John has included in this ebook, but they're things that are nice to be reminded about every so often to help make sure you take full advantage of every situation.

  8. John, you've given away to whole set in one go when you started this. They are ideal tips to share snack size, but we already know all of them :) Replied 2 years ago
  9. PS: another thought is that you clearly are a great videographer, would perhaps be a nice future format for tips. Replied 2 years ago
  10. Ferdy : I only shared a DRAFT of the final in the elite forum... you guys were privileged! :P
As for a videography set... I am still figuring that out myself, and do not feel confortable enough to give any real advice!

  11. RMFelix - thanks... the series will be going on until the end of November... twice a week, every Wednesday and Sunday! :)

I am also working on other bits too... i was thinking a post-processing guide maybe. but time is an issue as always. At the moment, i am trying to find time to shoot, but failing at that. :(
