Bat in the spotlight This bat was found hanging in a batcave in the Kilim Geoforest Park in Langkawi. The spotlight is actually a flashlight that we brought into the cave. There were literally thousands of bats hanging on the ceiling of the cave. The caves in Malaysia are so amazing. I felt like being on another planet, truly life changing.

This exodus of millions may take up to an hour, and during their hunt these bats may consume many tons of insects.
