    This is the same one as in this photo:
    Common darter (Sympetrum striolatum) This common darter was sitting on a bridge railing of a pedestrian bridge. Here he is in a pose to fly away, but he stayed. <br /> The darter was not very shy. People where walking past hem at 10cm or so and he just stayed. Luckily this meant he also didn't mind my camera. I happen to have my tripod with me for photographing mushrooms and because this darter stayed so long on the railing I had plenty time to set op my tripod and choosing a good position and a perfect f/11 for the diaphragma. It was also quite impressive to see on the enlarged preview how the darter his air vent opens and closes for breathing just like nostrils.<br /> <br /> Dutch name: Bruinrode Heidelibel Common Darter,Geotagged,Sympetrum striolatum,The Netherlands
