Maashorst HDR 3/10

Maashorst HDR 3/10 Today I went on a trip to practice some landscape photography at the Maashorst forest, Heesch, which is only one mile away from me. To spice up the scenes, I did some handshot bracketing and HDR processing. As you can see, I pushed things to the extreme, which I know is not everybody's cup of tea. Consider these experiments. I must admit that the other nine pictures of this series where not my thing. To overprocessed and/or to dull subject. But this one immediately made me think 'wow, could be painted!'.
The bright color and 'painted' straight lines of the fern, backround clouds with hardly any dark spots, painted looking sky.
    I like it!

Thanks! I know you're not into this kind of thing, but this is 1 "like" more than I expected :) To me it kind of looks like a dense jungle in a tropical destination, yet it is right around my corner.

I was browsing some tags in my self inflicted coffee break and saw this one under HDR. Love it! It indeed looks like something even Bob Ross would be proud of:) Never saw these kind of clouds in my HDR experience. Could you mail me a thumb of the original so that I know what to look for? Now I often ride my cycle to work and wonder 'hey, what would that look like in HDR?', especially with cloud formations, those tend to look astonishingly different from the original.
    My coffee's gettim' cold:)

      Thanks Ludo!

I looked in my library but it looks like I don't have the original anymore. Often when I do bracketing, HDR or panoramas, I remove the original files and only keep the postprocessed single file. Sorry!
