I keep coming back to looking at spider macro shots. On the one hand I am arachnophobic. But on this level of detail they seem fascinating and quite beautiful.

Tremendous image! i am surprised that you were able to capture so much depth of field with such a short distance to the subject. You didn't happen to use focus stacking, did you?
