      That pretty much describes the state I was in the whole time we were there!
      It was nearly overwhelming to the point of tears at times!
      These pools were so beautiful that you wanted to just dive in, but most of the water was right around boiling... generally 167 degrees F.

    I assume that the yellow is Sulphur. Does it smell?

      Actually, there's a heavy smell of sulphur near many of the different pools. This pool, however, was mostly a deep blue at one point; from thermophilic bacteria.
      The yellow actually comes from another bacteria that started growing out towards the edges, from tourists throwing coins and trash into the pool throughout the years.
      Beautiful and sad at the same time!

        Oh that so annoys me. People should have more respect for the environment. Perhaps it is they who should be thrown in?
